Can Five Blocks remove negative content from Google?

Quick answer

Yes. Five Blocks demotes negative search results by promoting authoritative content that displaces them, advising on platform-level removals where policies allow, and addressing the underlying sources feeding negative narratives, without using link schemes, cloaking, or other tactics that violate search engine guidelines.

Yes. Five Blocks addresses negative search results on several fronts at once. We combine content promotion, platform-level removal requests, and source-layer work to push damaging results out of prominence.

How we approach negative content

  1. Understand why it ranks. Before acting, we diagnose what is keeping a result in position: authority of the publishing domain, inbound links, how well it matches query intent, recency, or a gap in preferred content.
  2. Promote authoritative preferred content. We build and strengthen content that earns its place. That means improving existing assets, creating new ones, and structuring and linking them so they can displace lower-ranked material.
  3. Advise on platform removal where policies support it. When a platform’s own policies (accuracy standards, terms of service, or legal obligations) give a basis for removal, we advise on or assist with the request.
  4. Address the underlying sources. Content ranks because sources feed it. We work to correct inaccurate source material, including Wikipedia, data aggregators, and third-party profiles, so the information environment itself improves.
  5. Curate the overall online presence. Negative results fall when preferred content crowds them out and becomes the definitive answer to the query. The goal is a presence complete enough that negative results are no longer what people find.

What we do not do

We do not use link schemes, cloaking, or any other practice that violates Google’s Search Essentials or other search engine guidelines. Tactics that game rankings in the short term create long-term risk, and our work is built to hold.
