What is WikiAlerts?
WikiAlerts is Wikipedia monitoring built like Google Alerts: it sends real-time email notifications when watched pages change, with a diff view of what changed and a one-click revert for clear vandalism. It is free at wikialerts.fiveblocks.com.
WikiAlerts™ is a free Wikipedia monitoring tool Five Blocks built and made publicly available at wikialerts.fiveblocks.com.
It works like Google Alerts, but for Wikipedia. You add the pages you want to watch and get notified the moment any of them is edited:
- Watch the pages that matter, your company page, executive biographies, brand pages, and competitor pages.
- Real-time email alerts, an email arrives the moment a watched page is edited, rather than days later.
- Diff view, each alert shows exactly what changed on the page.
- One-click revert, a built-in option to roll back clear vandalism.
Why it exists
We built WikiAlerts because conventional monitoring services either miss Wikipedia edits entirely or flag them so slowly that the damage is already cached, copied, and quoted by AI engines by the time a comms team finds out. Catching a change while it is still fresh is what makes a fast revert possible.
