AIQ polls each of the eight tracked AI engines once a day. Every response is stored in full, along with the sources it cited, its scored sentiment, and its theme tags, so each topic accumulates a running history instead of a single snapshot.
What happens when a topic is new
The first round of queries fires immediately on save, so initial results appear within 15-20 minutes. After that first pass, the topic moves to the standard daily polling schedule and adds to its history with each run.
Why daily, and not more or less often: AI engine answers change often enough that a slower cadence would miss real shifts, but not so often within a single day that polling more frequently would usually show anything new. Daily polling is the balance between catching real movement and avoiding noise.
