How does Five Blocks measure and report results?

Five Blocks defines success metrics at the start of each engagement and tracks them throughout using two in-house platforms, IMPACT for search and AIQ for AI narrative, plus qualitative client feedback.

Core KPI categories

Search prominence

Ranking of preferred content for priority keywords, tracked daily by IMPACT across 500 locations in 69 countries and 23 languages. This measures whether the right pages, owned properties, authoritative third-party sources, and Wikipedia hold the top positions for branded and reputational searches.

Knowledge Panel status and accuracy

Whether a Google Knowledge Panel exists for the entity, whether its description and structured fields are accurate, and whether corrections have been reflected. Knowledge Panel data is drawn from the Knowledge Graph, Wikipedia, and Wikidata; changes to those upstream sources feed through to the Panel over time.

AI narrative quality

AIQ monitors what eight AI engines say about the client: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, AI Overview, Perplexity, Grok, Claude, and Google AI Mode. Measurement covers sentiment, accuracy of central claims, and the quality and diversity of the sources the engines cite. AIQ reports this in real time, so the team and client can see which version of the brand story each engine is telling and which sources drive it.

Wikipedia article status and stability

Whether a Wikipedia article exists, whether it accurately reflects the client’s narrative, and how stable it has been (edits, removals, flags). Wikipedia is a primary input to the Knowledge Graph and to AI engines, so its health is an early indicator for both other KPI categories.

Client satisfaction

Qualitative feedback collected at review points throughout the engagement. It is used alongside the quantitative metrics to confirm the program is addressing the outcomes the client cares about.
