Our Account Managers begin their careers at Five Blocks by working with and providing support to the Senior Account Manager in their client interfaces. They review and analyze search results, recommend on-page and off-page changes that would help in digital branding, work with the writers to create content, create profiles and a social media presence, etc. By working with the Senior Account Managers on client communications, they learn the unique Five Blocks approach to client engagement and ultimately assume responsibility for their client practice.
For the Account Manager role, we are looking for someone with a strong intuitive sense for technology and a problem solving attitude. The correct candidate, if he/she does not know the answer, will figure out how to access the answer or approach that could well succeed. They will be internet savvy with an ease and facility with various social media sites and on-line tools. In addition, previous client contact experience is a huge plus.
A very good command of spoken English is a requirement; additional languages (especially Hebrew) is a real plus. Writing skills are critical as well. Because so much of our client base is overseas, a good phone presence as well as a degree of flexibility are both requirements. Account Managers are expected to be quick learners and must be team players. Strong interpersonal skills are a requirement. They must be self starters and capable of managing several projects and multiple demands simultaneously.
