How should an executive prepare their digital presence before a media interview?
Pre-interview prep runs an audit-remediate-brief cycle, usually in the one to four weeks before a major interview: audit search and the AI engines on the likely topics, correct or refresh authoritative content at the source where gaps show up, then brief the executive on what stakeholders are seeing now.
Pre-interview reputation prep is its own engagement type, usually compressed into the one to four weeks before a significant interview, board appearance, or earnings call. The work runs on three tracks: audit, remediate, brief. It is one of the more compressed engagements we run.

The three-track cycle
- Audit. A full IMPACT™ read of the SERP for the executive’s name and for every topic the interview is likely to cover, AIQ polling on the same topics across the eight engines it currently tracks, plus a Wikipedia and Knowledge Panel review.
- Remediate. Where the audit finds gaps or inaccuracies: source-level corrections to factual errors in indexed coverage, Wikipedia edits where the record supports them, Knowledge Panel updates through verified-source paths, and new authoritative content on likely interview topics where existing authority is thin.
- Brief. A written summary of what stakeholders see when they search the executive’s name and what the AI engines say on the relevant topics. It lets the executive anticipate the questions and frame answers with confidence.
Why the cycle is compressed
Longer reputation programs run open-ended. This one is bounded by a fixed event date. The audit-remediate-brief cycle is repeatable, but here it runs end to end inside the one-to-four-week window before the executive faces the audience.
