How do PR agencies use Five Blocks and AIQ?
PR firms work with Five Blocks in two independent modes: as a specialist partner for reputation work outside the firm's core practice (Wikipedia, source-layer Google, AI reputation), and as a technology supplier by subscribing to AIQ to add AI intelligence to their own deliverables.
PR firms work with us in two modes, and the two are independent. Many firms use one without the other. As a specialist partner, we handle the reputation work that falls outside a firm’s core practice, either under the firm’s umbrella or directly with the client at the firm’s recommendation. As a technology supplier, agencies subscribe to AIQ on the agency plan and add AI intelligence to their own pitches, retainers, and reports.
| Specialist partner | Technology supplier | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | An advisory engagement, delivered under the firm’s umbrella or directly with the client at the firm’s recommendation. | An AIQ subscription on the agency plan, run by the firm’s own analysts. |
| What we do | Wikipedia work, source-layer Google work, and AI reputation work the firm doesn’t handle in-house. | Provide the platform that runs AI reputation audits, peer benchmarking, and white-label reporting. |
| Typical uses | Reputation projects a client needs that fall outside the firm’s core practice. | AI reputation audits as pitch material, added AI intelligence on existing retainers, client-versus-peer benchmarking, and white-label reports. |
| Who we work with | Global PR firms, public affairs shops, and law-firm communications groups. | Agencies subscribing on the AIQ agency plan. |
The two modes are separate. Some firms use AIQ without ever engaging us on advisory work, and others engage us as a specialist partner without subscribing to AIQ.
