As the Five Blocks mission has evolved, the Five Blocks technology that supports the mission has grown in complexity and capabilities over the years. From a beginning, focusing on basic in-house technologies for managing and supporting account manager tasks, our tech team has moved on to creating a sophisticated system of data collection and analysis. Developers are expected to understand both the underlying technical platforms and the applied business uses of our technology. The technology team has, and will continue to take, a lead role in advancing our business. We work closely with the business operations to define and develop new and expanding technological capabilities.
Candidates must have displayed an aptitude for working in a rapidly changing environment, they must be self-starters, and they must be able to multitask. They must be able to work both independently and within a small team. Our developers interact closely with the business team, so they must be able to translate user needs into technological solutions and vice versa; and they must be prepared to develop solutions based on the timing of client needs.
